Bonnie Benjamin
A book full of suspense from beginning to end. The cast of characters are just ordinary people caught up in a quite believable situation. It's just so clever the way that the author manages to weave them all into the plot, each of them having played a part as the story unfolds and the truth starts to trickle out. Initially it all seems quite clear cut what should happen, but then the author teases us and makes us realise that some problems are not that easy to resolve, if ever! I enjoyed the sometimes slow pace of the book, which enabled you to get familiar with the characters so that by the end you have no desire to blame anyone for what happened. The mystery unraveling in the most unexpected way, but you have to keep reading to get to that unexpected conclusion. Well done!! Not an author I would have chosen, and only bought the book because it was on special offer, but I'm so glad I did. Will look out for more of her books

I absolutely loved this book, cleverly written and funny along the way but also sad with unexpected turns. I found the characters very easy to like and would definitely recommend this book, can't wait to read the next book I have by Liane Moriarty.

I like this book because a lot of it sounded like my inner monologue, the stuff you think but never say. It was easy to get into and I finished it in the same day! Themes of sadness, excitement, love and loss. It's not particularly intellectual, but it's honest. I recommend it!
