J. D. currently resides in North Carolina with her family. She's a world traveler, a foodie, a relapsing coffee addict, and a rabid fan of the dark & deadly. When not torturing her characters, she's playing taxi-mom and dissuading muggles of the notion that Hufflepuffs are the innocent, sweet, peaceful creatures they're portrayed to be.
