Willow and Azil's life moves forward as they deal with his curse, and Willow strives to recreate a 3,000 year old magical drink... a process that has some nice unintended side benefits for Willow who is coming to realize she's no mere barrista. I read Herbal Concoctions in Kobo Plus and chose to share my thoughts.

I am so in love with watching these two fall in love. And it seems like they fall a little deeper, a little harder, with each new book in the series. I’m also kind of giddy that we finally get to see one of the weddings in this family. It’s not our leading couple (yet) but I’ve been just as curious to see what the future has in store for Willow’s cousins. It’s kind of exciting to see matters with The Sect coming to a head. I liked where the end of this book leaves Willow and Azil,

Willow and Azíl are trusting the SRA to keep the Sect from reactivating Azil’s curse instead of bending to their extortion. The suspense is nail-biting. All they can do is wait. In the meantime, Willow works to unravel the lost recipe for an ancient drink and participate in her sister’s wedding. Her own dreams for a future with Azil are on hold unless he is safe from the Sect. What’s in store for the series? I really enjoy Azil and Spooky. I hope there are more adventures in store.
