About this eBook

Laird McLaren is as large as he is annoying...

Lady Sophie Everclear doesn’t regret fleeing the rake who attempted to trap her into marriage, But perhaps she should not have stowed away on a ship bound for Scotland. The problems? There are too many to count. But the largest, most annoying one is Captain Ewan McLaren. The tall and brawny Scot says exactly what he thinks and he doesn’t think much of Sophie. Still. He’s all she’s got and fortunately for her his heart is even bigger than his lectures. Which makes her wonder. What else, beside talking, might his mouth be good at?

The woman has got to be daft...

Any woman as beautiful as Lady Sophie ought to know better than to attempt to hide out on a ship full of men. If Ewan were smart, he'd drop her at the nearest port because having a woman like her on board is nothing but trouble. But one look into her large blue eyes and he knows he can't. He's always had a soft heart for a woman in need and Sophie manages to be as endearing as she is annoying. And then there's the fact that she steals his breath with every wayward glance. He doesn't want a woman in life but the longer he's with her, the more he wonders if Sophie might just be the one who makes him break all the rules.

*** Stowaway *** In the beginning Lady Sophie was compromised against her will by a desperate despicable evil rake. She ran after her unfeeling father told her she had to wed the cad. Horrified Sophie ran. She ended up on a boat to Scotland. The captain of the boat was Laird Ewan McLaren. He is a big, big man. Tall, broad and handsome as sin. He is gruff and a no-nonsense type of person. But somehow, he mellows around Sophie. In Ewan's attempt to save Sophie from a horrible fate somehow the cad hunts her down and finds her and was trying to force her to wed him. Ewan was having none of that. An exciting story. You will not be disappointed. I received an Advanced Readers Copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. Reasons I enjoyed this book: Action-packed Entertaining Funny Page-turner Romantic Unpredictable Wonderful characters

Oh my. A Scotsman and a runaway lady who stow away on his ship. Time travel, where are you? She will not marry the rake her father is trying to force her to marry. Her quickest escape is on a ship to Scotland. Unfortunately she did not realize she would contend with a handsome Scot once he found her! He cannot believe the beautiful lady he finds stowed away, who seems may only bring him trouble! But he wants to help her, and maybe, just maybe keep her for himself? Loved finding out about this Scotsman and the visit of characters from other books in this series. Bring on the next one!
