They each address ten salient questions summarizing their career and their view of the current and future status of the sociology of sport. Each chapter addresses four main themes:

About the author
Kevin Young is Professor of Sociology at the University of Calgary, Canada. His previous publications include Sporting Bodies, Damaged Selves; Deviance and Social Control in Sport; Sport, Violence and Society; Qualitative Research on Sport and Physical Culture; Sport, Social Development and Peace; and Sociology of Sport: A Global Subdiscipline in Review. He served two elected terms as Vice-President of the International Sociology of Sport Association and has won awards for his teaching.
