A tempestuous romance with shades of Shibari and Kinbaku Jack and Sasha’s high school romance was destroyed by youthful indiscretion and close-minded prejudice, but it’s never too late for a second chance. Twelve years later, Jack is back in Chicago to prove he’s worthy of Sasha and to reclaim her heart. They’ve got all the cards stacked against them, however, because Sasha still hasn’t come to terms with what happened before, and she has no idea of the reasons why Jack left in the first place. This story beautifully demonstrates the power of communication in a relationship, and how maturity can give a better perspective to what we think we believe. The detailed introduction of the use of rope play among experienced, consenting adults was sensitively and compassionately presented. Very well written, this book is a standout among kinky romances. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Disappointing... Sasha and Jack came across very childish in their interactions with one another to the point of being annoying. It had the potential to be a good read.
