Loved this short format romance between a basketball star and a ditzy girl next door. Tori is actually a religion and philosophy professor rehabbing her house. Mike talks her into a summer fling. I loved these two characters. Tori is ditzy ON PURPOSE. Mike is superstitious, in a sports star kind of way. Fun fun fun. I wish it was a series because I wanted more about some of the secondary characters. I bought this book after reading a sample and getting hooked.

Loved this book! Tori is a brilliant woman with a Ph.D., that constantly acts like a ditz to keep others away. Mike is a basketball superstar that moves in next door to have time to heal from an injury out of the public eye. Tori has no idea who he is, just that he is sexy and she wants him, but Mike has a system and Tori can't be a part of it. However, you know what they say about the best laid plans.... I loved the characters, especially Tori and how she was always so willing to try new things and put herself out there. Her coping technique of dealing with other people by acting like an ditz was entertaining. Mike made a worthy potential partner and I enjoyed his routines and superstitions. Edward, while necessary to the story, was just annoying (yes, I know that's the point) and I preferred when his character wasn't present. For this, I'd take away half a star, but am rounding up to five stars. If you enjoy the genre, you will love this book. The author is on my must read authors'list.

Sizzling hot, fun read that you don't want to miss! Wonderfully written, fast paced story with characters that are hilarious and endearing. Not many books have female characters that I fall in love with but Tori Williams and her wacky ways is definitely one I will remember!! With a rehabbing NBA star and a zany genius Professor both hanging out for the summer, things are sure to heat up fast! But with summer coming to an end does that mean that their fun does too?? You'll want to find out, I highly recommend it.
