This is book two in The Sterling Wives Series and it is Astrid and Clay's story. Astrid's ex husband died and he left his business to ex wives all three of them but the best thing is that they all get on and they have found friendship with each other by working together for the good of the company has they all have different skills. Astrid has to work with Clay who is the architect but she finds it hard as he is not very friendly and is so cold to her but will be ever give her a chance. Clay has big trust issues after being hurt by his ex wife and protects himself and his daughter by closing himself off from everything and everyone but will Astrid be able to thaw him just a little. What will happen when Astrid and Clay have to spend more time together and there chemistry gets so hot and then they end up having to share a hotel room, anything could happen and you have to keep turning the pages to see what will happen next. I loved this book so much with all its twists and turns and it is so addictive. Karen Booth is an amazing author and writer and I definitely recommend you read this book and others by her and you will not be disappointed. I voluntarily reviewed an Arc copy of this book.

High Society Secretx bt Karen Booth, Clay and Astrid story, They worked together and the attraction is so strong but they both have a past. Clay has a daughter and he doesn't want to introduce her to just any woman because of her mother, Astrid was married to one of tge bosses and so was Clays sister , same man which complicates things even more. But these two are falling in love more every day. Cute story, I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is the second story in the "Sterling Wives" series. A stand alone read that starts with the death of Jonathon Sterling dying in a car accident. He leaves his company to his two ex's and wife. I don't think I have ever heard of this happening before but interesting enough the author makes it work. This is Clay and Astrid's story. Astrid was Sterling's second wife and Clay is Sterling's wife's brother. He also happens to be the architect working on a project that Astrid has been put on. As these two work together lines get blurred. These two are explosive together but one has trust issues and it definitely shows. It's a captivating and intriguing story that is full on emotional depth.

About the author

Karen Booth is a Midwestern girl transplanted in the South, raised on '80s music and way too many readings of “Forever” by Judy Blume. Married to her real-life Jake Ryan, she has two amazing kids with epic hair, a very bratty cat, and loves getting up before dawn to write romance. With plenty of sparks.
