About the author
JULIA R. is a non-native English speaker who is from Bangkok, Thailand. Although being the only English speaking member of her family, she has always dreamed about writing poems and stories in English.
As a Laws graduate, she had been working in law firms for several years. However, those unpoetic years in courtrooms couldn’t diminish her love for linguistics and literature. She had been writing poetry in her native language, Thai, since childhood, and has been dreaming about setting foot into the world of English literature, which finally came true when she joined online poetry sites in May 2020.
When she isn’t pouring her heart out into poems, she loves to read, cook, sing and learn new languages. As of today, she can speak 5 languages - Thai, Lanna, English, French and Hungarian.
RICKY J. lives in India and is an Engineer by profession. As unpoetic his profession may sound, he possesses an unholy amount of imagination and writing poems as well as stories is his preferred choice for channeling that imagination.
Although he has always been an avid reader since childhood and loves to read literally anything, he started writing much later into his life. Currently, online poetry sites are his favorite hang-outs for exploring varied literature and posting his own works.
When he isn’t either reading or writing or occasionally remembering to work, he is probably sleeping!
