Stel dat alles tegenzit. Dat je dom bent, lelijk of dyslectisch, of dat je twee briljante broers hebt of een skippybalbuik, of misschien wel alles tegelijk. Dan kun je beter de rest van je leven in winterslaap gaan. Kaya en Simon hebben dat soort pech, maar samen slapen ze hun tijd wel uit. Dan komt juffrouw Pots in hun klas. Plotseling is het afgelopen met de rust. Verder slapen kan pas weer als dat afgrijselijke mens weg is. Maar dat is nog een flinke klus. Want juffrouw Pots blijkt nog gemener te zijn dan ze eruitzietâ ¦ Simon had de scheetzak in zijn hand toen juffrouw Pots bijna bij zijn tafel was. Hij keek naar een verstopplek, tilde ten einde raad zijn kont op en ging erop zitten. Een enorme wind knalde door het lokaal. Kaya sloot haar ogen. Wat kon Simon toch ontzettend, ongelofelijk dom doen. Juffrouw Pots verstarde. â En wie was dat?â schreeuwde ze. â Nou? Wie? Wie liet er hier een vieze vuile scheet?â
