British artist Leonard Leslie Brooke (1862 1940) achieved renown with his illustrations for Andrew Lang's "Nursery Rhyme Book." His other acclaimed titles for Frederick Warne and Company include "Ring O' Roses, The Golden Goose Book, " and "Oranges and Lemons.""
