Simple and easy to read book about why you should remove meat and dairy from your diet. Consuming meat and dairy is bad for you and this book details why. Uses "bro" talk to appeal to male readers (also cites his sources), a demographic that is typically resistant and downright scared of following a plant-based diet. Well, now you don't have to be. Pick up this book and never turn back. Recipes are also provided to ease your transition.

The author of this book is very clearly a hardcore advocate for a plant-based diet. Each chapter brought a new way to make fun of the meat-eaters and I did have a good time reading this. However, each chapter seemed to start with a promise to explain something further later on and it was either never touched on again or barely at all. That made the arguments presented seem less coherent. In the end it was humor that saved the title. Worth the read!

A very good intro into the transforming lifestyle that plants have to offer. He serves up the reality that it isn't easy to change how you have eaten your whole life but shows you the necessity for it and he does it in an in your face way. So put down the steak porky and grab a big glass of wheatgrass and go get down with your girl.

John Joseph is the front man for the legendary punk band the Cro-Mags and the author of the self-published memoir The Evolution of a Cro-Magnon. He is an Ironman triathlete and has been strictly plant-based for thirty-three years and counting. He lives in New York City.
