This was a heartfelt tale full of hope & second chances. I loved how Thomas drew me into her world, creating a connection with both the land and the characters. The intricate manner in which she told her tale allowed me to see everything in a much bigger picture. At the same time, the focus remained on the characters at hand. The gradual progression of the tale really gave a sense of realism and of the everyday to it. The characters that Thomas created fit very well with the tale. I enjoyed how everyone filled their role without remaining restricted to it. The multidimensional development of both the main and secondary characters was fantastic. This was a great addition to Thomas’ series. I enjoyed every moment together and how it came together as a seamless whole. I’d recommend it to those who enjoy small town romance done right.
