About this ebook

Summoned for seduction…

Hailing from a remote corner of the Highlands, Helene MacKail is well aware that a rare journey to celebrate the holidays at Domhnaill Keep means her father is seeking a marriage alliance for his only child. As much as she tries to be dutiful, she cannot submit to the powerful warrior her family has in mind – a Scot said to rule by brute force.

Highlander Léod mac Ruadhán will not be refused by a mere maid, no matter her legendary beauty. So when Helene’s wishes threaten to overrule her father’s wisdom, Léod courts her in secret — never allowing her to know his identity. He thinks to seduce her body if only to show her how wrong she was to deny him. But in the dark intimacy of the secret meetings, he is the one seduced… body and soul.

*This volume contains six short medieval romance stories, beginning with Summoned for Seduction. These sizzling stories of medieval ladies and the Highlanders, Vikings, and Saxon knights who court them, were previously published individually by Harlequin. This collection is the first time all six have been available together.

A great introduction to Joanne Rock's work This is a collection of six short, spicy, historical (medieval) romances, ranging across era including Highlanders, Vikings, and Saxons. I hadn't read anything by Joanne Rock before so this was a great introduction to her stories and I really enjoyed them. Despite them being very short reads, each story had good detail and didn't feel rushed, they featured strong men and women and steamy times. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
