I enjoyed this feel-good romance on so many levels - Jeannie Moon's characters are realistic and down-to-earth, the storyline is emotional and heartwarming. I felt an affinity to Mia's nephew Ben as right off the bat he reminded me of my own son who's a similar age. I loved the grandmothers and hope to see them as a common thread in future books in the series. All in all a good read.

Another emotion filled book from Jeannie Moon!! The story, the writing, and the secondary characters are all exceptional but what makes this one unforgettable are the core characters of Mia, Ben, and Adam. You can just feel the chemistry and depth of feeling they have for each other. Mia and Adam are both people looking for a fresh start after life served them up some pretty hard times. They never give up even though their journey to their HEA is bumpy. This is truly an amazing read and one I will be recommending to everyone.

A Long Island romance: Mia returns to Compass Cove to start over with her nephew, Ben, who's having a hard time adjusting to school. A chance meeting with the local college football coach, Adam, changes their lives. As he becomes the male role model in sports and life for Ben, he and Mia fight the attraction they have for one another. Extended family offers differing opinions. An accident brings Mia and Adam together, but an unexpected person from the past threatens her plans to adopt Ben and the relationship Adam and Mia have started. Mia has a lot decisions to make, and most importantly, if she can allow the the love of a changed man into her heart and that of Ben. A beautiful romance I recommend.
