Wicked Torture: A dramatically passionate love story

Wicked Torture is book 3 in the Stark World Series and what a brilliant addition to a great series, this is a story full of twists, it’s an emotional roller coaster that will blow your mind. Noah and Kiki have a history, a past that tore them apart so how will they react a few years down the line when they met again, will the past win and tear them apart or will true love win the day, is it really their time to find love and happiness. This book is about true love, friendship and loyalty, heartbreak and second changes, it’s beautifully written and it will have you hooked from the very first page, every character in this series is strong and you can’t help falling in love with them. This is a perfect standalone novel within a great series and once again J.Kenner makes you feel like you are part of her Stark World Family, looking forward to more in this series just wondering who’s story we will get next. Loved it, it’s a must read of 2017

She is understandably wary of Noah, and yet she is deeply moved by his tenderness. What they feel for each other is powerful, intense and unresolved. With dramatic twists and turns, the emotions and feels are off the charts! The writing of this book is excellent, the plot moved swiftly, the character development was on point, and I was hooked right from the very start. This book can be read as a standalone, but as a long-time fan of Julie Kenner’s work, I enjoyed the cameo appearances of well-known characters from the Stark and SIN series. I received an advanced copy of this book and voluntarily reviewed it.

Once again, J.Kenner’s words captured my attention from the very first pages. The storyline just flows perfectly and I felt Kiki and Noah’s inside turmoil and emotions along their journey. ““I mean that I lost you in Los Angeles, and found you here. Miracle One.” I have always been a big fan of the Stark World, and I could not wait to read Noah’s story. He has always been an enigma until now. He has been mourning his wife and child’s death for 10 years , and is trying to move on and rebuild his life. Professionally Noah is extremely successful and highly respected but on a personal level, he is a lonely wolf. When he sees Kiki again, he sees the light and a hope for a second chance… a hope to make it right. Kiki is the one that he let get away and he feels guilty because of his choices… “To make her understand that they’d had a second chance handed to them on a shiny silver platter. All they had to do was dig in. But a bigger, saner part knew that she was right. They weren’t the same people anymore. And while the attraction was there on both sides, the trust wasn’t.” Kiki got her heart broken into pieces by Noah and now that he is back in her life, she does not know what to do. Should she listen to her heart or to the voice of reason? They have both changed- Noah is a broken man who is fighting his own demons. “the man you’d fallen in love with was happy. Ambitious. But the guy who returned? Well, he was broken.” He meets my eyes. “In a lot of ways he still is.” Kiki has questions that are still unanswered and she needs more. Her character felt real to me and I could totally relate and understand her insecurities. Why would she give him a second chance… at breaking her heart again? The characters are real, endearing and a perfect match! The chemistry between them was hot and steamy… but both of them have serious emotional issues that they need to resolve if they want to get the second chance that they deserve. Will they finally get their HEA? “I want to look at you and know that I’m the only man with the privilege of seeing you naked and vulnerable. The only man who can touch you. And I want you to give yourself to me, knowing that I will never want another woman. I want your surrender, baby. Basically, I want all of you.”
