James Burks has spent the last eighteen years working in the animation industry on various movies and television shows, such as Nickelodeon's Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! He is the author-illustrator of several children's books, including Gabby & Gator, a Junior Library Guild Selection, and the Bird & Squirrel graphic novels. He also illustrated The Monstore by Tara Lazar.
