An Engineer and MBA by qualification, Rituparna believes her education has served her well by giving her the courage to choose offbeat means of living for two decades - from serving in the Indian Air Force in its second batch of women engineers to co-owning a cookie shop to championing operational excellence for corporate giants. A three-time award winning run-in-costume designer at Bengaluru’s World 10K event, Rituparna also ran a few half marathons and is currently focusing on music and creative writing. Her poem features in an anthology ‘Po’try’, and is forthcoming in ‘Indian Literature’. She resides in Bengaluru, India with her husband, Rajat, and 5-year old son, Vihaan. After experiencing the joy Vihaan bought into her life, Rituparna became an advocate for adoption. She can be reached at [email protected]
