The book lacks pace and engagement. The ending is really poor and feels wrong in so many ways. Nice tourist guide of Florence though. Hope they don't make a movie out of this.

Having read the previous work of Dan Brown, I found the Inferno to be rather straight forward with a lack of twists. I also felt that the descriptions of scenery often bloomed out with unneccessary long historic tails robbing the story of its sense of action. Apart from that, this is a standard Dan Brown novel. It gets an extra star for having raised an issue that REALLY needs to be addressed, worldwide.

Om författaren
Dan Brown is the bestselling author of Digital Fortress, Deception Point, Angels and Demons, The Da Vinci Code, The Lost Symbol, Inferno and most recently, Origin. Three of his Robert Langdon novels have been adapted for the screen by Ron Howard, starring Tom Hanks. They have all been international blockbusters.
Dan Brown is a graduate of Amherst College and Phillips Exeter Academy, where he has taught English and Creative Writing. He lives in New England.
