 Scott Shay is a linguist and author specializing in the field of historical Germanic linguistics. In addition to the iRef Guide: German Grammar, he is the author of The History of English: A Linguistic IntroductionMiddle High German VerbsiRef Guide: Spanish GrammariRef Guide: Dutch Grammar, and iRef Guide: English/ESL Grammar. Mr. Shay has an MA in Germanic linguistics from the University of California, Berkeley.
