This is book seven in the Wrangler's Corner series, however, I believe it is a stand alone book. I have read some, but not all the books in this series and had no trouble understanding what was going on. I do feel like I missed some good books and history of a lot of the sub characters in this book though. This book is full of suspense, mystery, romance and more. If you like FBI and Police type novels, full of family, twist and turns, mystery and suspense you will love this book.
