Hendi Hendratman grew up in a middle-class family in a military environment. His childhood was spent playing in the rice fields. Failed to be accepted into the Faculty of Fine Arts & Design at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) but was accepted into the Architectural Engineering program at ITB. He received several Drop Out warnings but finally graduated in 9 years with the lowest Grade Point Average (IP). But with consistency and Allah's permission, his books are displayed as Best Seller books in Gramedia and other major bookstores. His experience as a seminar and workshop presenter is no doubt to produce a generation that is ready to work and create.
