About this ebook

Revel in this Regency annoyance-to-lovers story, full of twists, turns and page-turning romance!

From feuding neighbours...

To a union at the altar?

Having lost her fiancé to war, Lady Juliet Sinclair refuses to lose her home to her brother’s gambling debts. She certainly wouldn’t otherwise be contemplating a marriage offer from her arrogant yet infuriatingly attractive neighbour the Earl of Ashleigh...

If widower Marcus didn’t need a mother for his beloved daughter, he wouldn’t be proposing to outspoken Juliet either. They cross swords whenever they meet, but his daughter immediately takes to her. Yet Marcus is discovering his new bride intrigues him in ways he hadn’t expected...making their battle of wills even more thrilling!

About the author

Helen Dickson lives in South Yorkshire with her retired farm manager husband. On leaving school she entered the nursing profession, which she left to bring up a young family. Having moved out of the chaotic farmhouse, she has more time to indulge in her favourite pastimes. She enjoys being outdoors, travelling, reading and music. An incurable romantic, she writes for pleasure. It was a love of history that drove her to writing historical romantic fiction.
