About this ebook

After the loss of her husband—and her left foot—Ophelia Shaw threw herself into running his distinguished cousin’s country estate, to great success. But managing the Duke of Montrose himself was never a task she’d anticipated…until he returns from London without a bride, determined never to search for another. Well aware of the gruff duke’s appeal, Ophelia is equally determined to change his mind and school him in the art of courtship—only to be swept off her one remaining foot!

Harry has returned home to the Widow Shaw in a very bad mood indeed, though not because he was jilted. In truth, the one woman he wants is not the lady who received his proposal. Now, Ophelia is resolute he should try again, insisting love doesn’t always happen at first sight. If she only knew… To placate her, Harry agrees, keen to have his “lessons” over and done with. They’ll either prove Ophelia wrong—or deliver his perfect bride right into his waiting arms.

A steamy Distinguished Rogues novella.

This was a sweet regency romance and I loved how Montrose and Ophelia finally found love with each other. There was a huge twist with the heroine's previous accident and their relationship (she was married to his cousin), but I loved how Montrose tried so hard with her. It was a wonderful story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

His Perfect Bride is the fifteenth book in The Distinguished Rogues series and is a short but charming Regency romance. I really enjoyed this book. The characters are delightful in their thoughts about each other even though they don't dare display their feelings outwardly. The story is engaging and perfect for any fans of Regency romance. I read and reviewed this book with no obligation.

Ophelia’s courtship lessons! I have read a number of books where a gentleman has been disabled but never one with a lady it was an interesting twist. That is not the only twist you will find in this quick read and I enjoyed each and every one. Ophelia and Harry are so different and their interactions with each other were captivating. It appears that Ophelia’s courtship lessons may have unexpected consequent. It was a charming tale and I enjoyed every minute I spent reading this well-written this piece. I hope you check this charmer out. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
