The Master Chief and Blue Team are deployed by the UNSC to Alpha Corvi II, a precarious human colony world, seeking to halt the Covenant's efforts to uncover something hidden below the planet's surface.

Alex Irvine’s original fiction, including BUYOUT, A SCATTERING OF JADES, and ANTHROPOCENE RAG, has won numerous awards, hit best-seller lists and been translated into more than a dozen languages. He has created licensed and transmedia work in the universes of Marvel, DC, Transformers, Halo, Supernatural, Sleepy Hollow, Pacific Rim, Deus Ex, and other prominent IP.
