About this ebook

**Pre-order Haemin’s new book, When Things Don’t Go Your Way, today**

A beautiful guide for learning to love ourselves, from the author of the internationally bestselling The Things You Can See Only When You Slow Down

No one is perfect. But that doesn't stop us from imagining ourselves smarter, funnier, richer, or thinner, and how much happier we would then be.

Love for Imperfect Things, by the bestselling Korean monk, Haemin Sunim, shows how the path to happiness and peace of mind includes not only strong relationships with others, but also letting go of worries about ourselves. Packed with his typical spiritual wisdom, Sunim teaches us to embrace our flaws rather than trying to overcome them, and demonstrates that love has very little to do with perfection.

With chapters on self-compassion, relationships, empathy, courage, family, healing, our true nature, and acceptance, as well as beautiful full-colour illustrations, Love for Imperfect Things is a much-needed guide for learning to love ourselves - imperfections and all.

a good read. offers practical advice. talks of compassionate eyes that look at everything with equanimity. other masters too have talked about this as the witness and choice less awareness. Buddhist teachings are very close to vedant approach. the author doesn't dwell much on mindfulness meditation. doing that would have added value to the book. there are however many other books that teach mindful meditation. I would love hamein sunim to throw some light on topics such as free-will, no-self and non-doership.

My review is based on the format of the book not the content. I use reading glasses and find increasing the font size useful. Unfortunately I'm unable to change font size with this book. I have tried reading it on both my PC and Android device and neither allows me to increase the font size. I suggest downloading the sample first prior to purchasing to confirm the embedded font size suits you.

One of the very few books I can read and re-read many times and still learn something new. Highly recommend. can't wait for the next one!
