I Mapuche sono una delle più grandi tribù native del Sudamerica riuscite a sopravvivere fino ai giorni nostri. Il Mapuche viene definito come "Il Custode del Paradiso". L'obiettivo di un Mapuche è quello di riuscire a vivere in completa armonia con la natura che lo circonda. Riuscendo a vivere e realizzare tutta la propria vita fino alla morte, andandosene senza lasciare sul pianeta alcuna traccia. La ricchezza del Mapuche si basa nel proteggere la natura. Più animali liberi ci sono e più ricco si sente il Mapuche. Più animali caccia per mangiare e più sente di diventare povero. Per questo motivo i nativi uccidevano un animale soltanto quando non avevano altro da mangiare. Questo racconto si basa su fatti realmente accaduti e si appoggia sopra la filosofia che ha portato questo popolo a resistere e combattere l'invasore fino ai giorni nostri.
