Tom, an American teenager, visits his parents’ friends in Keralam, India during his summer vacation. One day, the family and their two teenagers, Shiva and Sheela take him on an exciting trip to a mountain to see an ancient cave site. But, things go horribly wrong, while descending into the cave site below the mountain, when a massive earthquake erupts and the three teens fall deep into the earth. Somehow, they survive the ordeal and eventually find themselves in a strange new world where they encounter all sorts of alien creatures and strange landscapes.
In another twist to the story, there is a big mystery surrounding the whereabout of King Mahabali who comes to visit his people in Keralam each year for the Onam festival. It’s important mystery that need to be solved, because people who have been enjoying his blessings for so long suddenly find themselves with all sorts of problems including a terrible drought which is wrecking havoc on the economy.
Come along on this amazing journey with Shiva, Tom and Sheela as they unlock the mystery of their fall into their strange world and perhaps even find clues as to what is keeping King Mahabali away from his people in Kerala.
