She has written many books for adults, teens, and children and is the author of Early Sunday Morning and My Brown Baby: On the Joys and Challenges of Raising African American Children. Denene lives in Atlanta with her two daughters and their adorable Goldendoodle, Teddy.
Gladys Jose is an illustrator, storyteller, and master to-do list maker.
