Disappointing and not fun or enjoyable. The writing was boring and predictable, the art was not enough to save it. It really reads like Tieri hated the Punisher,who barely punishes and mucks up what little he does. I don't know why Frank Tieri hates women, but every woman in this comic ends up beaten or dead. And right when I saw a interesting personality struggling to emerge in a villain,they immediately screwed that up too. Deciding to fling themselves into the all badguys are rapists cliché.

The Punisher in 1935 Manhattan doing what he does. But was I overall a bit disappointed. Punisher fans should at least check it out once. Not really for entry level reading, start with Welcome Back, Frank.

Excelsior! I love the story plot and also the artworks. I wish Marvel will making more of Noir-verse like this one. 'Nuff said.
