It sort of feels like the author ran out of good ideas. The story just rambles without a clear goal, and worse, they never accomplish anything beyond the random emergencies that arise. I don't hate it. I DO want to see some progress.

It has been a nice series so far. I'm happy with it. It's something like Misadventures of a Potionmaker if I had to describe it.
