This is a funny, sweet, fast little novella, previously published in the Wild anthology. Lulu is a human and comes from a family of cops that is working in a gentleman's club. Broderick/Brody is tiger but also not your typical geeky accountant for a shifter mobster. As soon as Lulu walks into her office to find Brody going through her stuff she doesn't take kindly to it, but Brody instantly recognizes her as his mate. But as he does his work things aren't always as they appear or are they? This is a super fast read, hard to put down. I'm a big fan of the author and read all her books. This is silly and fun just like pretty much all her books. One of my go to author's, hard to stay in a bad mood reading her books. Though I enjoyed the hell out of this novella, I think it had the makings of a full length book and wished it was longer. The only other minor thing I wished was a little more info on them at the end. I personally love hearing what happens to the characters and not just at the moment, gives me a kind of closure at the end of the story. If you like light, fun reads, you will love this book!!
