Erupting Thoughts

South African poet, Moopedi Monyela originates from Phalaborwa in the Limpopo province. He started writing at the age of 16 and at the age of 16 he published his first solo book with Pixie & Pexels an India based publication house.

He first co authored a several book with Indian publication houses before releasing his first solo book "Autumn" on the 15th of March 2022.

He sets out to be the voice of his generation in Phalaborwa through his highly anticipated poetry collection "Erupting Thoughts" whereby he written based on the theme mental health featuring international name Devanshi, continental name Wendu Diseño and South African names Tshumu'a Bo Sekwati, Marvin Mmola, Nomtee Thepoetess, Scida Thee Poetess, Luminary Maake, Felicia Ramuageli, Thando Malatji and Thabo Peter Sekgwela-Waga Ramotlhola.

Which was released on the 19th of March 2023.

He describes the two work of art personal "Autumn & Erupting Thoughts" as he has integrated what he has went through in both.

Nomthandazo K Molapo AKA nomtee is a poetess who was born in Phalaborwa, Namakgale. She discovered her aspring talent at an early age while doing her 5th Grade. She then wrote her fisrts ever poem in class a that's when she identified her capabilities as a young writer. She the established a Facebook page @TheJourneyWithNomtee and began to share her numerous magnificent poems. She was also in a few collaborations with well known poets around her of which are Marvin Mmola & Moopedi Monyela. She is indeed a determined and young black poetess who believes that words have power and anyone can if they want to.

Marvin Mmola is a 20 years old poet residing in Phalaborwa Namakgale AKA Smosh he has been writing poetry for 10 years and he realized that he can write while he was in 6th grade. Grateful he had an English teacher Mr Monyela who helped him grow and have some light on what poetry is even today he is still a part of him Throughout his journey he has worked and collaborated with different poets who are also good and talented the likes of Nomtee Thepoetess and Moopedi Monyela" those are the few people who we held it for a long time and groomed one another, our time together did birth beautiful results. "I can't say I was inspired to write but the writing thing was in me all along just When the time came all I needed was to be shown a way in which I should walk on" He said

PARTNERS, THEY'VE INSPIRED ME ALOT. TV WRITERS THAT INSPIRES ME

INCLUDE PHATHU MAKWERELA, GWYDION BEYON, SHONDA RHIMES, PETER

NOWALK AND SIPHOSETHU TSHABU.I THEN BECAME A GHOSTWRITER FOR

SOME LOCAL ARTISTS, FILMMAKERS AND POETS WHICH WAS FUN AND

CHALLENGING.THEN IN 2014 I STARTED A FACEBOOK BLOG( LIMPOPO

ENTERTAINMENT NEWS COUCH)WHERE I PROMOTE LOCAL TALENTS. I

JUST SAW A NEED TO GIVE A HELPING HAND.

Felicia Ramuageli was born in Phalaborwa on the eleventh of November 2005. She became a writer at the age of fifteen and only mastered her creativity back in 2022 when she wrote her first official poem titled "Concrete sunflower" . That poem was a poem of honour to hwe late mom who played an important role in her life. My motivation behind poetry is from my love for art and anime,I relate my poems to what I see happening in the anime and art world as I see it as a reflection of my life. I believe there is alot I have achieved in, academically,in terms of sports and other extra curricular activities, hoping to have more achievements in the near future, poetry based included. So far I've worked with one of the greatest poets in my township Moopedi Monyela, hoping to make more collaborations with other poem writers. There's alot more to me than poetry,but the most common fact is that I am a Young entrepreneur and an upcoming host. I am the founder of the clothing brand, Saint Menace and with my hard work and tenacity I look forward to building an empire there on.
