Sparks will fly as a plot continues to escalate... OMG! WOW! Dale continues to captivate and enthrall her readers into what led to the “accident” that caused such devastating injuries and death to a team of Navy Seals on a fact finding mission. The leads continue to evolve and grow… causing more questions to be asked than answers and resolutions. The plot thickens! Returning to Kabul, Afghanistan - Erick, along with friends and fellow team mates also injured are looking for answers and clues to what happened that day two years previously. For Erick its also to find closure and lay some haunting memories to rest. Add Honey Lewis, a Dentist, attending a research workshop, to this intriguing suspenseful drama- oh yes… the sparks will fly and plots continue to escalate. The major plot line continues to carry through the entire series but each book has it’s own sub plot and story that offers the characters more to deal with, or are the small developments just more layers to this overall plot? Dale delivers you a story filled with intrigue, dramatic suspense and action. Wonderful, intelligent, caring and compassionate characters that are reeling from horrific injuries, learning to deal with life and limitations as it now is yet never giving up and adapting. Determined to find answers and justice - to right the wrongs. Dale delivers you, another page-turning drama, intrigue and action, twists and unexpected turns - with ERICK. Highly recommended for those that love military based heroes and the women that capture their attention and love. It’s always wonderful to have other series book heroes/team members when you need help. That they have your back no matter what you are facing in life. Not only are they a team, they are family and will have your back no matter what, even when doubt and suspicion are high.

What Erick, Cade, and Talon learn from Badger’s and their adventure in London in Book 1 of SEALs of STEEL indicates that it’s time for them to make the trip to Afghanistan to visit the explosion site while Badger undergoes needed surgery and Kat’s monitoring. On their first night in Kabul, they run into Honey Lewis, an American dentist who had once almost destroyed Erick’s beloved ’69 Mustang. Honey, in Kabul to fill a last-minute space that opened up in an international conference, is very observant and sees a gunman heading toward their floor in the hotel. Hearing that, Erick contacts unit member Laszlo from Norway to come and help them. Reliving the experience is trauma for all of them, especially when Cade finds a piece of the landmine with the stamp “Property of US Military.” Clearly the explosion was not just a military accident. Honey and Erick connect as she is drawn into the danger from the gunman and her own brush with human trafficking.

I was very excited starting this book, because from the sneak peek in the previous book I can tell that Erick is going to meet his match, and this book totally not dissapointed. From the get go, the banter between characters is outstanding. This one is a military suspense mix in with enemies to lovers romance, it sure has interesting story and packed with actions. He's on a mission for vengeance and she's a damsel in distress who cought up in the middle. A seal and a dentist. They're so different but so perfect together. There might some gaps on the story, some missed facts and some repetitions, but with the all high-strung actions that keeps me alert and on my toes on every chapter, I can't put this book down. As for characters, Loveeee Erick and Honey, they really got under each others skin, and that's what makes their banter superb. Love all the sweet, flirty, fighting moments. Honey is very reckless though, it's a bit annoying sometimes, but I admire how strong she is when facing danger. Yup love these two together. If you love military suspense romance, this one is a must. *I voluntarily received a review copy of this book
