About the author

Cheryl Fall is the author of 13 books, including Embroidery Basics (978-0-8117-1093-0) and 3 titles in the popular Dummies series, and more than 2,000 articles on how-to crafts. She maintains the NeedleKnowledge.com website and was also the host of the nationally distributed PBS Plus series The Creative Life. Cheryl has been designing professionally since 1986 and has been a designer for DMC Threads and J&P Coats/Anchor. She lives near Portland, Oregon.
