Once again I was not disappointed. Really enjoy the writing. The author really knows how to put just enough suspense into the smallest moments to leave you hanging on the edge of your seat. I love how mother and daughter are bonding over their new powers. I like how each book has it's own separate mystery, and the mystery of the curse covers the whole series, but I do wish there was a little more research on the curse in each book, instead of just at the end. I received a free copy.

I am really digging this series! With each book we get a tricky mystery for Dani and her friends to solve while also uncovering new and often quite surprising news about their family magic and the past. Dani and her daughter Grace are trying their best to get a handle on powers they had no idea where even a possibility and they get help from some unexpected sources.
