Brick and "Mo's" book was a fantastic read! Like any BJ Daniels' book, there are multiple character perspectives going on during the story and I love that. I helps give you a well-rounded book from all sides. However, the two main characters are Brick Savage, the deputy marshal who suddenly has a woman walk out in front of his truck one night and when he slams on the brakes, then jumps out to see if he hit her, she's gone and Maureen - Mo - Mortensen, a homicide detective who wants to find the person responsible for destroying her family. This is another fast-paced read with a lot going on all the time. Who is Natalie and is she good or is she bad? How did Mo's sister die? Brick and Mo go all over the state of Montana trying to get answers to find out the mysteries that surround what really happened to Mo's sister and infant baby. There are a couple other "side stories" too that are interesting and add something to the book. I finished this in one day - as usual, I couldn't put it down!
