About this ebook

WILDERNESS OF BLOOD

A Colorado wilderness search for a savage mountain terror

Chris Colt didn't believe in being afraid—not of death or anyone who brought it. He didn't believe in ghosts or ghouls, no matter how gruesome a trail of screaming terror and mutilated corpses a killer left behind. He didn't believe in the legendary Sasquatch, no matter if witnesses told of a monstrously huge figure who slew victims with hideous strength and vanished like smoke in the air.

But now in the wild Sangre de Cristo mountains of Colorado, even Chris Colt, the famed Chief of Scouts, felt a tremor of unease in his trigger finger. The horrifying murderer he was hunting was more brutal than any beast he had ever heard of, and more brilliant than any man he had ever had to best. Colt was facing the ultimate test of his own strength, skill, and savvy against an almost inhuman creature whose lethal lust had turned the vast unspoiled wilderness into an endless killing field. A creature who called himself—EAGLE.

About the author

A best-selling western author, former US Army Special Forces (Green Beret) officer and disabled Vietnam veteran, Don Bendell is also very well-known in the Specops community and popular for his military thrillers, too. A widely-read and controversial editorialist, he has appeared on Fox News and many national radio shows, newspapers, and blogs. Don is noted for his wild sense of humor and blunt honesty, and has often been called a "John Wayne-type" by detractors. Don is a Grandmaster Instructor in 4 different martial arts and black sash instructor in Muay Thai kickboxing. He and his Master Instructor late wife Shirley, were the only couple to both be inducted into the International Karate and Kickboxing Hall of Fame.
