This is the story of Stephan and Bethany who are taken from their parents at a young age and trained by mad scientists to carry out research in other worlds called branes. The scientists have devised a method of transport across these branes. The kids are launched into a strange new world with no hope of ever returning to our world. They meet strange new creatures on this brane—colorful, winged creatures that speak different languages, have different customs, and who, ultimately, seem bent on destroying each other. This truly is the story of two heroic young adventurers who complement each other in so many ways and work together to save the new world in which they find themselves. It is a story of adventure, courage, and sacrifice. This series is intended to be a trilogy in which the second installment will be written during National Novel Writing Month (November) of 2010.
