Paul Johann Ludwig Heyse, ab 1910 von Heyse war ein deutscher Schriftsteller, Dramatiker und Übersetzer. Neben vielen Gedichten schuf Heyse rund 180 Novellen, acht Romane und 68 Dramen. Heyses Biograf Erich Petzet rühmte die "Umfassenheit seiner Produktion".
