Waylander is in my in my top 10 of fictional book characters. I've read this book so many times and the two other Waylander novels are just as good. David Gemmel was an outstanding writer of fantasy novels.

This book took a while to get going but once it did the was no let up.

I was hooked on the story. Feels like watching a movie instead of reading.. if you know what I mean :D
About the author
David Gemmell's first novel, Legend, was published in 1984 and he was widely acclaimed as Britain's king of heroic fantasy. He died in July 2006.
