Charles Haddon Spurgeon (1834-1892) was a prominent Baptist preacher and author in England during the Victorian era. Throughout his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to hundreds of thousands of people, published numerous books and sermons, and founded a pastor's college and several orphanages.
