Burke and Chloe start off with a fake relationship but are so sweet together that you can't help but love them. His family is utterly crazy but loving. I liked the chemistry and the way they progress. I finished it in one day because I couldn't put it down.

This is the fifth book in this amazing series and is Burke and Chloe’s journey. Burke is a wealthy playboy, while Chloe’s life is on a downward spiral and she is hitting rock bottom, all due to trusting the wrong person, leaving her no option but to approach Burke, only to find out the same person has scammed them both. Burke needs a fake fiancée to seal a business deal, and with Chloe acting the part, she will have the funds available to keep her business afloat. This is a well written fun story, which has humor, witty banter, family, trust, hope, and is a steamy and entertaining addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I always highly recommend.

I absolutely loved Something Like Love by Claudia Burgoa; it is an incredible fake engagement love story. It is the second book in her new Against All Odds: The St. James Family series. I am looking forward to reading the other books in the series. Claudia Burgoa showed that she is an amazing storyteller and is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. She has once again provided her readers with amazing characters. I love all the characters in Something Like Love, they feel like family! Something Like Love is an incredible love story, which has filled me with a rollercoaster of emotions, and I could not put it down, and I loved every moment on every page. Who does not love hot sexy men, strong females, loving families, and friends, who always support one another? I love how Claudia Burgoa always manages to create the "perfect" heroine, who is a strong, sassy woman on her own, to balance out the sexy, swoon worthy man. I really enjoy how the book is told in the first person from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting the insight and feelings from the different characters. I love the lighter moments where I find myself smiling and laughing out loud. My favorite moments are the ones that pull at my heartstrings that cause me to sigh, as I read the heartbreaking moments. Something Like Love is filled with heartbreaking and heartwarming moments, and with so much emotion. It is filled with all those things that I have come to love and expect in a love story, Claudia Burgoa did not disappoint, especially with the poignant and bittersweet moments that filled this page turner. Something Like Love is the love story about Burke St. James, owner of Bliss Winery Company and Chloe Lafferty, cooking consultant. Chloe and Burke initially met a year prior at a Silverthorne Bay Vineyard where Chloe is catering a wedding and Burke is visiting a vineyard that he plans on purchasing. Maddox Curtis a childhood friend of Burke’s sells his home that he shared with Chloe without informing her. Leaving Chloe homeless and without a kitchen, she used her life saving to upgrade Maddox’s. He also embezzled money from Burke’s Bliss Winery Company and disappeared. Burke is interested in purchasing another vineyard, but the owner wants someone who is engaged or married. Burke and Chloe have not seen each other in over a year. Burke offers Chloe a place to live, and offers her a proposition, in exchange for a place to live and support her catering company, Chloe will pretend to be Burke’s fiancée. I love the clauses that are part of their agreement. As Chloe and Burke begin spending time together living with one another things change between them. I love the unexpected plot twist that changes things between them and everything that Burke does to show Chloe how he really feels. Neither one believes that they want a relationship, but their feelings prove otherwise. I love how the storylines get so beautifully resolved. I love all the changes that Chloe was willing to make in her own life to have a life with Burke, and the changes Burke makes to have a life with Chloe. I love the ending and how it went above and beyond the happily ever after. My favorite part of the book was Burke’s proposal to Chloe, where the proposal took place and the special meaning that it has for Chloe. Something Like Love is filled with poignant and bittersweet moments as well as plot twists. I love the characters and the family dynamic in Something Like Love, the characters feel like family and friends. Who does not love family and friends that always have each other’s backs? I enjoy all the interactions among the St. James siblings and friends, it feels like real family love and makes me laugh at their teasing. I thoroughly enjoyed Something Like Love, who does not love fake engagement love story. Highly recommend this incredible love story and am so looking forward to reading the other books in the series.
