Note: Although this novella is set in the Gaian Consortium universe, it takes place roughly a hundred and fifty years before the events of Blood Will Tell, et al., at a time when the Consortium was just beginning to expand into the galaxy outside Gaia’s solar system and hadn’t yet developed the star-spanning empire seen in the series’ other books.

Decent novella, one grammatical error but otherwise a snappy space story stirred with a touch of love and hope. The "beast" as he's referred to by some, big heart and the heroine sees past scars to find her true love. Beauty and the Beast twist was great 👍

Christine Pope’s “Beast” is a short prequel novella taking place approximately 150 years before the start of the Gaian Consortium Series. It is a story of found love that won’t be denied no matter what the outcome and the desperate chance the main characters must take. A few things did take me by surprise but it was welcomed from having a storyline that’s predictable. I highly recommend this book but suggest you start the series with the first book. There are 6 books in the series with the 7th … “Refugees” … coming in October 2018.

The way life has of giving hope and love in a strange palaces. Like this story has from the start you are chosen for your mind and your science work to end up in space and finding love with your boss. Hope you enjoy this story its wsy out there.
