Indigo lives with her Mum, her younger sister Misti and Max. Indie covers herself in sheets and plays her music loud, but that can't cover Misti's crying and Max's shouting. Indie finds respite at school with her best friend, but as time ticks on, is Jo drifting away? When Mum decides to moce, just her, Misti and Indie, Indie knows something is wrong. She can see the mottled bruises on Mum's face. Indigo is super responsible, she has to be. In her new dingy old flat, Mum can be distant. And Indie has to take over duties. There is no heating and no food and life seems bad. But it isn't getting better. Mum is sneaking outm for about 20 minutes, just to call Max. And when she goes out to dinner with him, she ends up in hospital and Max in prison. Jo is accusing Indie of things she isn't doing and Indie feels that Aisha is moving in on her best friend. Then everything changes and they are no longer in a dingy flat and Indigo is no longer with Jo. This book is amazing.

Cathy Cassidy is one of my favourite authors and i would recommed her books to any Jacquline Wilson fans. The story is about a girl with a broken home and a broken friendship. So yeah... five stars from me! xxxxx

I have read 'Sundae girl' and 'Dizzy' and now 'Indigo blue' and this book is the best out of these three! Cathy's book makes you want to read more and the words spring out and spin around your head making you want to jump into the book and experience all the adventures Cathy writes about in 'Indigo blue'!
