This was a touching, sweet, clean romance of two individuals who seemingly opposites, are very much alike. Abby James has decided to leave the city life and start a new one in Three Springs, Texas. Especially since she no longer has a job, and her cheating boyfriend has no interest in the baby she’s carrying. Also, her cousin, a widow, has moved to the hometown of her grandparents , the place that Abby felt happiest. On her way there, she meets former Navy SEAL and now cowboy Wes Tanner . The attraction is evident, but Abby has no interest in romance, and Wes has plans to leave. Besides, he feels he’s not good enough for Abby. Watching Abby navigate her new life, and Wes dealing with his feelings, his past, and his duty to the man that took him under his wings, was touching and sweet. I hope that we get more Three Springs stories. I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

The Texas SEAL's Surprise is a sweet, fun, romance that begins a new series. I am eagerly looking forward to the next book set in this quirky town of Three Springs, Texas. I love all the characters - Abby, Wes, Tess, the older matchmakers and more. I love the banter between Abby and Wes and between Wes, Sam and Boone. This well written, small town romance grabbed my interest on page one and did not let go. I was up way too late to find out how Ms. Webb resolved everything. I highly recommend this book.
