Nellie: This is the final book in Callie Hutton’s fabulous Prisoner of Love Series. These stories follow four brave women on a journey to start new lives far away from all their sorrow and heartache. Nellie, their chaperone from the wagon train journey is a former brothel owner who saw her business burn to the ground, she is asked to aid the younger women by the Sheriff. Seeing this as her chance start fresh somewhere new she agrees. After seeing the young women married and settled she buys the bed & breakfast she stays in and to make ends meet she starts a mail order bride service, although content something is missing from her life. Enter Dane, the sheriff who helped the ladies now retired, he comes to town to see Nellie. Having loved her for years he is determined to marry her. Things do not go as planned however, with some drama and legal matters to get in the way of our couple’s happiness. Eventually Dane proves to Nellie that love is possible and when all barriers are removed they find their happy ever after. This is a great end to the series, previous characters appear letting us see how they have faired, I am so glad to finally get to read Nellie’s story. Callie delivers as always, great characters and good stories. I highly recommend this series. Although I received an advanced reader copy this is my true and honest review.

I have always been fond of Callie Hutton’s books and this one is included. It is a quick read with truly wonderful characters, adventures and justice. Nellie, a nearly 40-year-old woman owned a brothel however it was in fire and Jones, a Marshal requested her to chaperon four young women to be mail order bride. She agreed and she also decided to have a very clean and clear life in Santa Fe as a respectable woman. For me, Nellie is an extremely strong and kind-hearted heroine I have ever encountered despite her past therefore I did understand why Jones is so smitten with her and is determined to marry her. I love his determination and endeavor to win Nellie. For me Prisoners of Love: Nellie has engaging characters and quite satisfying ending, I did enjoy reading it.

Prisoners Of Love: Nellie - A Christmas To Remember is a fantastic historical western romance by Callie Hutton. I loved everything about this book except the title (it's a tad lengthy), I'm not even sure if that is the title or if just the second half is the title. Ms. Hutton has supplied readers with a well-written book. I love the characters in this story. They make it a joy to read. Dane is the marshal of Dodge City with a jail cell full of women he didn't know what to do with. Nellie is the madam of the town's bordello and when it burns down, Dane convinces Nellie to take the girls to Santa Fe as their chaperone for them all to have fresh starts. Dane and Nellie's story is loaded with drama, humor, spice, action and suspense. I loved this story and look forward to my next book by Callie Hutton. This is book 5 of the Prisoners of Love Series but can be read as a standalone. Nellie - A Christmas To Remember is a complete book, not a cliffhanger. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book that I received from Bookfunnel. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
