Crown of Crystal Flame

Absolutely love this series. I'm not ashamed to say I cried when some characters died. I grew attached to them, only to have them ripped away in a manner I haven't seen since J. K. Rowling. I personally have read this series at least ten times, and it's a thrill ride every time. It's the perfect balance of brutal warfare, mesmerizing magic, and steamy intimate scenes. Rainier and Ellysetta's story is one for the ages, and my favorite of all time. I love it so much, I even said "Ver reisa ku'chae. Kem surah, shei'tani." when I met my soulmate. I just knew she was the one, and the words spilled out. Luckily, she thought it was cute when I explained... But I digress. Anyone who's a fan of Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, or Eragon will love these books. I recommend them to anyone looking to go on the journey of a lifetime through the pages of a book.

These books need to be turned into a movie. They have been my absolute favorite for years now. I have read many other series and I always come back to these five books. I have read them countless times and will continue to do so.

Loved every single book perfect ending. But like other readers have mentioned, i would love to read more about the other characters I fell in love with.
