There is just something about this author's characters that makes you feel that you could actually know them regardless of the fact we are dealing with dragon witch hybrids and damphires. Somehow Sybil has never quite felt that she was good enough, especially not in comparison to her sisters. This has created something of a vortes within her and truly she just wants someone to her for herself that she can love in return. Could the fates have finally smiled on her when she finds her mate? Nope!
