About the author

Linda Byler grew up Amish and is an active member of the Amish church today. She is the author of several bestselling fiction series and Christmas novels, all set in the Amish world. Well-known within the Amish community as a columnist for a weekly Amish newspaper, she lives near Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Laura Anne Lapp is the author of Amish Butters, Salsas & Spreads, Amish Canning & Preserving, and An Amish Garden. A member of the Amish church, she lives with her husband and three young sons in a tucked-away valley in central Pennsylvania. Before her marriage, she was a teacher in an Amish school for eight years.

Emily Stoltzfus loved growing up in the Amish community and enjoyed a childhood filled with imagination, green fields, animals, and wilderness. As a teen, she worked in farmer's markets and as a teacher in the one-room schoolhouse. Although she and her husband and two children are no longer part of the Amish church, she still treasures the values she was taught.

Anna Kauffman was mother to ten children (including Linda Byler) and a wonderful cook and homemaker. Her recipes live on in this book and in the hearts of her children and grandchildren.
